Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Those Guys Inspections collects, why, and what we do and do not do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
- Booking details — your name, phone number, email address, the property address being inspected, and the service you asked for.
- Inspection records — photographs, findings, and the report we produce for you.
- Messages you send us — through our contact form, by text, or by phone.
- Documents you choose to upload — for example a résumé sent through our careers form.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell data. Our site carries no third-party advertising or social media scripts.
Text messages
If you book with us, we may send you text messages about that booking — confirmations, arrival windows, and when your report is ready. These are service messages and are part of the job you hired us for.
Marketing texts are separate and optional. You will only receive them if you tick the marketing box yourself; it is never ticked for you, and declining it does not affect your booking, your price, or your report.
Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Replying STOP ends marketing messages; you may still receive messages about an inspection you have booked.
🔴 We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with any third party for their own marketing, and we never sell them. Numbers are passed only to the messaging carrier that delivers the message on our behalf, which may not use them for anything else.
Who else touches your information
We use a small number of service providers to do specific jobs for us — send messages, take card payments, and host our systems. They may only use your information to perform that job for us. We do not give anyone your information for their own marketing.
How long we keep things
- Inspection reports and their evidence — kept for the life of your file, because a report you may need in a claim or a sale is worth nothing if we have deleted it.
- Résumés and job applications — kept for 365 days, then removed.
- Marketing consent — the record of what you agreed to, and when, is kept for as long as we may need to show it. That record is append-only: we can add to it, we cannot quietly rewrite it.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any marketing text to stop marketing texts.
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. We will do it, except where we are required to keep an inspection record.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
Children
Our services are for property owners and buyers. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
