What Miami-Dade adds to it
Miami-Dade and Broward sit inside the Florida Building Code's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. Palm Beach does not. In practice that means the roof covering, the roof-to-wall connections and the opening protection on a Miami-Dade house were built to a stricter standard than the same house forty miles north — and an inspection that ignores that is reading the building wrong.
Older Miami-Dade housing stock also brings companion inspections into the conversation more often than elsewhere — a four-point for the insurer, a wind mitigation report for the credits you may already be entitled to. We will tell you which of them your situation actually calls for.

Who does the inspection
Inspections are performed by a Florida Licensed Home Inspector, Lic. HI8162, and an InterNACHI member.
What we will not do
We do not repair what we inspect. An inspector who quotes the repair has an interest in finding it, and you should not have to wonder which it was.
